The dive at the north end of First Bay has a sandy plain
at 9m with coral patches and a sloping reef from 12m
down to 30m+. Features of note are a fantastic coral
pinnacle covered in red soft corals at 9m at the North
end of the site - to find this look for the big table
coral and head North past the old fish cage (now covered
in sponges) keep on a straight line and you can't miss
it. There is a pinnacle at 15m which is a long narrow
pinnacle sticking up from the reef at a slight angle,
this can be used as a navigation aid if doing the site
from the shore, it is due west of the gap in the
fringing reef.
