This is named after the site in Sharm north of Ras Um
Sid because of the huge amount of red soft coral growing
in the area which catches the current. The dive is best
made as a drift dive from a boat. It is great for color
balancing when taking photos or video. Humphead wrasse,
unicorn fish and octopus are all common here as well as
many lion fish. If you look around the pinnacles you
will also find several varieties of Moray Eels. The
depth range here is suited to all divers, but good
buoyancy control is a must to preserve this wonderful
site for future divers. |
