The wonders of nature and the brilliance of medieval
Arab military architecture have given birth to Ajloun.
Located in north Jordan, Ajloun's sprawling pine
forests and Arab-Islamic castles are considered to be
one of the most important ecological and historical
attractions in the Middle East.

The area's numerous and rich forests, olive groves,
beautiful picnic areas, and extensive walking trails
attract visitors throughout the April-October season, especially
from the Gulf and other warmer regions of the Middle
East, due to cool summer temperatures and easy access.
Baring the same importance of its nature, Ajloun's
Qal'at Ar-Rabad plays a daring role in history by being
the reason behind the defeat of the crusaders eight
centuries ago. |
